Our Origin Story

More than just a café, a space where specialty coffee, matcha, culinary creativity, and community come together. Shaped by Natasha Hemani’s journey across Paris, New York, and Mumbai, and her background in fashion, hospitality, and brand strategy, Blondie blends global culture with local warmth. We sourced ceremonial-grade matcha from Uji, Japan, and Natasha spent time living on coffee farms in Chikmagalur to deeply understand the craft before creating the signature Blondie Blend. Alongside her, Chef Shreya Aggarwal has brought her culinary expertise and creativity to the food program, curating a menu that is both comforting and inventive, inspired by global flavors yet rooted in India. Together, they have crafted Blondie into a café where every detail — from the beverages to the design to its cultural programming — tells a story of quality, creativity, and connection.

From Sourcing to Serving

From sourcing to serving the perfect cup. Our Co-Founder and Brand Director, Natasha Hemani, believed that before perfecting our offerings, it was essential to get the sourcing right. She personally visited farms in Chikmagalur, working closely with a fourth-generation, women-led estate to understand the craft at its roots. This journey not only laid the foundation for our coffee programme but also taught her the beauty of delayed gratification—realizing that behind every cup lies years of care, effort, and patience. It made her appreciate her own cup of coffee even more, knowing how much goes into getting it just right.

We serve only the finest beans, thoughtfully sourced from select estates across India. Each batch is grown with care, roasted to perfection, and blended exclusively for us—ensuring every cup tells the story of where it comes from.
